Are you trying to do something a little different this time? Do you have a vision for something that could be spectacular but you need the right help to pull it off? Those are the kinds of projects Kinvat likes to tackle most of all…
What do you do if your client wants a live alien from the planet Pandora to visit their ballroom event? Complete with a glowing, pulsing jungle scene to accompany, of course- no problem!
We used approximately a mile of side-emitting fiber optic cables, 10 Martin QFX fiber illuminators (actually hidden inside tree), and at least 8 buckets of elbow grease to create this startlingly lifelike “Tree of Souls” for an Oscar’s themed event in 2010.
Kinvat has been experimenting with production technology in a big way. Lasers have been quietly evolving for years since its introduction to entertainment in the 70’s. No more are the days of simple, harsh, green beams that took lots of energy, man hours, and equipment to produce.
The device featured here- with its full color range, impressive lumen output, and amazing soft edged atmospheric effects, weighs in at roughly 60lbs, and runs on 10 watts. No photo or video can truly capture the intense, yet subtle and fluid visuals and images produced in a live context.
Our ability to branch out into creative technologies fearlessly lies in our strong relationships. Nth Degree Creative, out of the Seattle area, has been developing amazing and innovative events with lasers all over the world and for many years. Proudly, they are our main collaborators and supporters in bringing the next generation of lasers to life in groundbreaking and exciting ways.
Whatever your vision may be- Kinvat can get you there.
